About David Mahon

I own and run Stellaer 212, an Irish airline, aircraft management and business aviation company based in Dublin Weston Airport. We provide a wide range of services from aircraft acquisition, aircraft management to aircraft crew services in the private/business aviation field. We operate bespoke private AOC charter from Dublin, London and further afield as required. As part of my role I get to fly the Pilatus PC-12-NGX, and PC-12-NG on a regular basis, which I thoroughly enjoy. Previously I held roles in commercial aviation, and I am an accomplished Senior Manager, specialising in Airline Leadership, Operations, Safety and Compliance. 20+ years’ experience of leadership, operations risk management and compliance - I have implemented safety, compliance and continuous improvement programs and led process engineering and development across a highly regulated and safety critical environment. I have managed proactive & reactive safety management system development, multimedia training platforms, risk/near miss assessments, internal audit programs and corporate security implementation across multi-site, cross cultural internal and external stakeholders. Primarily working in the aviation industry in safety & security critical, customer focused, cost sensitive and LEAN environment.
