About David Mantle

I am an experienced and flexible information manager with background in legal and technical research, public and private sector data and historical records. During my current role I have successfully managed and implemented several major projects and developed the information service into an efficient and modern unit. This has included complete revision of the information and knowledge provision for the firm across all offices and jurisdictions, including planning and implementing a new firmwide intranet. I have also led on staff management issues, such as redundancy consultations and subsequent personnel and workload issues. One of the continual underlying motivations to my work is to obtain best value from existing and potential resources, resulting in excellent vendor relationships across many sectors and a sound understanding of user requirements at all levels. I am interested in combining both traditional skills with technological advances in enhancing information, knowledge and records management and enabling ease of use and access for end users Specialties: Historical research, staff management, problem solving and creative thinking
