About David Manura

Good software addresses people needs, is robust, adapts to evolving requirements, and is well communicated. Creativity and rigor manage the underlying complexity, and attending to the community closes the feedback loop. I've been programming in some manner about 90% of my life. Early interest in math and establishing a forum for it taught me something about written communication and helping people solve technical problems. Some things I'm more widely known for are shepherding the SIMION product, work in the open source Lua community (documentation and CMake builds), creating a popular math web site on the early web, and various work at SIS, including facing customers. I've worked primarily in C#.NET/C++/Lua/Perl/JavaScript as my tools of choice, among others. At Scientific Instrument Services (a division of Adaptas Solutions we service the scientific and mass spectrometer community: supplies, OEM manufacturing, engineering, or other technical help. We have a top-of-the-line machine shop in Pennsylvania to make your small parts according to stringent scientific and medical requirements, as well as engineering resources in MA (motion control, liquid handling, electronics, instrumentation, etc.) and Australia (ETP) to design and manufacture OEM sub-assemblies or instruments. Contact us to discuss how Adaptas SIS might work with you.
