I graduated as a master in Business Administration with a major in accountancy at Vlekho Brussels (1997). I started at Ernst & Young (Antwerp) as auditor. My goal was to become a certified auditor. February 6th, 2002: I became a certified auditor. April 2002: I started working at the Belgian Court of Audit as a financial auditor. I was mainly doing audits in Flemish entities relating to mobility: public bus company, shipping service and canals service. During 1,5 year (2006-2007) I was an internal audit Manager for a group where I performed audits in the sector of not-profit and social economy. August 2007, I returned to the Belgian Court of Audit. I am mainly doing audits in the domain of Social Security (social contributions, unemployment benefits.) but also the National Lottery. Ik ben afgestudeerd als licentiaat Handelswetenschappen - accountancy aan het Vlekho Brussel (1997). Ik ben dan begonnen bij Ernst & Young te Antwerpen in de audit. Mijn doelstelling was de titel van bedrijfsrevisor te behalen. 06 februari 2002 : eedaflegging van bedrijfsrevisor voor de handelsrechtbank te Mechelen. April 2002 ben ik bij het Rekenhof beginnen werken als financiële auditor. Ik deed daar vooral het Vlaamse beleidsdomein "Mobiliteit" met o.a. De Lijn, Dienst voor de Scheepvaart en NV Zeekanaal. Ik ben ongeveer anderhalf jaar andere ervaringen gaan opdoen (2006-2007) als Interne Audit Manager. Hier heb ik vooral controles verricht en adviezen verleent aan diverse VZW's, NGO's. actief in de non-profit sector en sociale economie. Sinds augustus 2007 ben ik teruggekeerd naar het Rekenhof waar ik nu in de federale sector de Sociale Zekerheid controleer met o.a. de RSZ, RVA, RJV. Daarnaast voer ik ook in opdracht van het Rekenhof controles uit bij de Nationale Loterij (in college met de bedrijfsrevisoren).
