Full time Data Centre Facilities Engineering Manager with Fujitsu Australia. Having over 20 years’ experience working within large multi-customer data centers. Has a strong sound knowledge of power, cooling and data, backed up by a technical architect / project management background. Works closely within standards (BCA, TIA, ISO, AS/CA S009:2013, AS/NZS etc.) Pride myself on delivering projects on time, within budget, of the highest quality whilst providing customers with added value. Previously have held various security clearances (NV1). Specializing in client data center relocations, infrastructure refreshes/ upgrades and telecommunication installations. Works mainly within the customer projects eld providing technical understanding of infrastructure platforms and guiding the integration into customer environments. Support, training and management of the onsite 24x7 data centre support team. Sound knowledge of backend centre centre infrastructure (power generation & delivery, hvac, security, etc). Coordinating third parties, Project Management, enforcing ITIL processes. Looking after a small/medium team of onsite staff providing guidance and understanding of the Data Centres processes and policies and managing workflow of hardware & cabling installations.
