About David Maslen

I have significant technical leadership experience and have supported many projects and implementations for Fortune 500 companies, and have helped drive numerous substantial business improvements for large enterprises by leveraging technology. I've been working in the Dynamics 365 customer engagement and Power Platform space for the past 15 years. For the past 5 years I've worked at Microsoft, first as a Customer Engineer (Premier Field Engineer), and now as a Senior FastTrack Solution Architect. In my current role, I help customers realize the potential of their D365/Power Platform investment by ensuring they are implementing these products based on best practices and by helping them achieve their project objectives and ROI by ensuring they are taking advantage of everything these products have to offer. I also act as a liaison between my customers and Microsoft's product teams to facilitate a two-way feedback conversation to help drive product improvements, enhancements and innovations, and to ensure customers are getting maximum value and capability from their product investments. Recently I have been focused on the digital seller experience portfolio of products, including Sales and Marketing, however, I'm equally knowledgeable in the Customer and Field Services spaces. I have experience in both technical and less-technical roles. I've been in the weeds as a.NET and citizen developer, but have also managed large implementation projects as an architect or people manager. My roots are in the development space, and I tend to gravitate to roles which allow me to maintain my technical prowess. I'm actively looking for opportunities, particularly in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. Please don't hesitate to reach out, however, I'd ask the following: 1.
