About David Mastny

To begin with, I would like to present myself as an example of a versatile fellow with an interesting combination of different skills. Firstly, owing to my educational background, which is a combination of technical, linguistic and humanistic schools and universities, I believe I developed a solid base, which is suitable for various jobs. My problem-solving approach and technical skills of a programmer, extensive knowledge of history, politics, international relations and analytical skills acquired during my university program create an extraordinary mixture, which I believe would be more than suitable for you. Secondly, I have various experience from my foreign study stays and internships and I am more than happy to work in an international environment or foreign-language team. I particularly devote a lot of attention and financial resources to visit and experience regions of my interest. I believe that personal knowledge and relationship is necessary to fully understand and respect local peoples. Thirdly, I have been working for more than 10 years as a freelancer or volunteer on different projects including online magazine, web design, PC game modding, travelogues etc. Therefore I think that I can be self-sufficient and independent worker. On the other hand, as a life-long basketball player, I can work as a regular part of a smaller team.
