David has more than 30 years experience in the financial services industry; serving in multiple leadership roles. He has a proven track record in developing and implementing new products, sales strategies and training programs to achieve corporate and advisor goals. Expertise includes sales training, practice management, distribution, product/platform development, product manager, fiduciary and best interest training, consumer and advisor marketing, public speaking. David’s 30-year career with Primerica provided him an opportunity to fill a variety of roles ranging from operations and new business to external wholesaling and product development, management and introduction/rollout. David has been responsible for many significant developments at Primerica including the introduction of Fixed Indexed Annuities and expanding the variable annuity platform as well as innovative sales technologies such as financial planning and illustration tools and electronic applications (funds, annuities, managed accounts). David led the effort to create an account aggregation tool with Morningstar for Primerica’s field force. Supporting Primerica’s network of more than registered representatives required David to create and deliver all required training to comply with SEC Reg BI/CRS and the Department of Labor’s Fiduciary Standard Rule (2021). During his time at Primerica David was transferred to Smith Barney Mutual Funds (later acquired by Legg Mason Funds) to direct wholesaling efforts in the Primerica channel. David was directly responsible for sales in the Southeast and increased net sales by more than 30% and market share in the channel by more than 20%. David is a sought after trainer and public speaker at Primerica and has spoken at every Primerica convention (attendance for the last 10 years. He is a gifted teacher and able to make complex concepts easy to understand. David is an Accredited Investment Fiduciary (AIF) and holds Series 7, 63 and 26 licenses. He is a graduate of the University of South Florida (BA, Economics/History) and attended Oglethorpe University’s MBA program.
