Now: journalist, broadcaster and producer across technology and consumer affairs, with a track record of high-quality reporting on television, online and in print. Then: IT professional consulting on major transformation projects for international clients across financial services, technology, media and telecoms. On television I am resident digital consumer champion for BBC1 Rip Off Britain, a money-saving reporter with BBC Right on the Money, a cybercrime buster for BBC Watchdog and The One Show, a friendly face of technology for CBBC Newsround, and an ITV Good Morning Britain regular giving my take on breaking tech news. A popular event host and keynote speaker, I host conferences, events and awards around world - and live online from my high-definition broadcast studio - for clients including BT, HSBC, Okta, Samsung, IBM, SAP, Symantec, and Adobe. My keynotes are often inspired by my own journeys in tech, and help audiences to understand the different ways technology is shaping - and re-shaping - our world. I write for leading national print and high-profile online titles. For The Metro newspaper I write features, news and reviews for its weekly 'Connect' technology section; other bylines include Wired, CNET, TechRadar, Computer Weekly and Mobile World Live. As a self-shooting producer/director and editor, I have shot programmes and packages for broadcast and documentary as well as corporates, social and events. I operate my own 4K broadcast equipment (industry standard Sony FS7) and am experienced with a wide variety of cameras (Canon C300, XF305 etc).
