Dave McClintock was selected to serve as Inspector General by the St. Johns County Clerk of the Court and Comptroller in May of 2023. Previously Mr. McClintock served for 9 years as the Inspector General of Jefferson Parish, LA and 3 years as the Inspector General of Baltimore City, Maryland. Mr. McClintock is active with the Association of Inspectors General and currently serves on the Board of Directors where he currently Chairs the Governmental Relations Committee. Prior to his time as an Inspector General, Mr. McClintock had served with the Maryland- National Capital Park Police where he supervised the Office of Professional Standards, Criminal Investigations, Field Operations, and the Special Services Section before retiring as an Assistant Chief. A graduate of the University of Maryland School of Law, Mr. McClintock has operated a private practice and served with the Office of the General Counsel for the Maryland National Capital Park and Planning Commission. He is also a graduate of the FBI National Academy Session #226 and is designated as a Certified Inspector General by the Association of Inspectors General.
