About David McKay

For the past twenty-four years, I have immersed myself in simplifying the complexities of pharmacy benefit management. I have negotiated PBM contracts, facilitated forensic audits of multi-million dollar drug spends and managed complex PBM litigation across the country. I have reviewed hundreds of retail pharmacy contracts and rebate contracts, deposed some of the top PBM executives in the country and secured groundbreaking court rulings regarding PBM claims data, fiduciary status and contractual obligations. Looking for a new challenge, I joined Prescryptive Health, Inc. as its General Counsel in 2020. Within two months, the pandemic hit and I went to work with the amazing team at Prescryptive to build and support a cloud-based platform for scheduling and reporting the results of COVID tests at a contracted network of independent pharmacies throughout the State of New York. As the pandemic subsided, I pivoted back to my original mission to helping Prescryptive build a transparent PBM that empowers plan sponsors and members with the information they need in real-time to cut costs and inspire better health. Having recently departed Prescryptive, I am enjoying some downtime and re-energizing myself for my next challenge as an experienced healthcare lawyer who remains steadfast in my commitment to simpifying the complexities of healthcare.
