About David McQueeney

An Environmental Professional with over seven years experience. My career has spanned contamination assessment and remediation, asbestos management, environmental compliance, environmental planning and assessment, and natural resources management. I have experience with developments ranging from residential sites through to State Significant Developments. I have demonstrated environmental capabilities across the civil construction, linear infrastructure, mining, extractive industries, and renewables sectors. I hold a bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science & Management through the University of Newcastle. Based in Orange NSW, I am employed by Newcrest Mining at their Cadia Valley Operation. As a Senior Environmental Advisor, my experience has provided me with a sound knowledge of the environmental challenges encountered in development and the skills to address these issues. My aim is to be a trusted adviser, and to provide the greatest potential environmental outcomes by further developing my technical knowledge, maintaining effective communication, and through utilising my well developed stakeholder engagement and project management skills.
