About David Menashy

Over 16 years experience as Group Finance Director at the Science Navigation Group, with financial oversight across a dozen growth companies within the Group, specialising in BioMedical, Publishing and InfoTech. I've managed multiple successful exits into acquisitions by large publicly-known companies. I lead the in-house team producing Group accounts, payroll, VAT returns etc. for all of our companies. I have extensive experience in the sale of companies, due diligence etc, including in recent years the the successful sales of the BioMed Central Group to Springer and Telmap Israel to Intel (both £X00m exits). In 2020 the Group sold Research Ltd. to an Informa subsidiary - I was heavily involved and successfully provided financial reports for the 6 month transition period following completion. We have recently sold a company to Sage Publishing and our Chairman is retiring, though I'm maybe not quite ready to hang up my boots. Previously at an independent accountancy practice with a wide range of clients, specialising in the leisure, telecoms and advertising sectors. Successfully negotiated countless tax and VAT inspections/investigations. My interests include science, music, movies and book collecting, particularly Science Fiction and Fantasy, though I strive to keep Fantasy out of my figures!
