David is a multi-award winning Financial Advisor and Relationship Manager with experience in providing Personal and Commercial – Mid Market strategic and financial advice. David most recently earned RBC’s highest award for Community Service – Global Citizen Award. During his time as a financial advisor with RBC, David earned RBC’s highest award – RBC Leo Award. In David’s current role as a Sr. Manager, CRM Product Owner at RBC. David is stewarding the implementation of RBC’s new CRM Platform. The new CRM system will be leveraged by advisors in all P & CB business lines, increasing advisor productivity and ability to provide proactive, holistic and tailored financial advice. Previously David held relationship management roles in RBCs Commercial Financial Services. As a Sr. and Jr. Commercial Account Manager at RBC, David advised business owners specializing in Supply Chain industries. David and his teams advice was centered on financing organic growth, acquisitions, investment in capital projects, succession events including shareholder buyouts and management buyouts, transactional banking, deposit and hedging strategies, wealth management, tax and estate planning, employee wellness, attraction and retention solutions. David spends much his time outside of work being an active member in his Community. David’s passion for giving back is centered on Youth Education, Empowerment and Entrepreneurship. David has been very involved with Junior Achievement since 2009, taking on progressively larger roles with the organization. David is an active mentor and advisor with Junior Achievement participating in various programs and events. Most recently and for the last 5 years David has been a Lead Advisor for Junior Achievements - Company Program. David is also very involved with Business in the Streets, a not-for-profit organization whose mission is to help youth facing barriers access top-tier business training, peer mentorship, micro-financing and ongoing business support. David has participated as a mentor, panelist and adjudicator for Business in the Streets - Bits Bucks and Boot Camp programs. More recently David has taken on a larger role with the organization to help redesign their programs to have a more robust business finance curriculum. David is an active participant, facilitator and champion of RBC’s Future Launch initiative, a $500 Million investment over 10 years to help Canadian youth gain relevant skills, work experience, networks and mental well-being.
