About David Meyers

From the newsroom to the halls of goverment, David Meyers has built a career around one constant: the power of clear, honest communication. An award-winning journalist turned communications executive, he brings 24 years of experience spanning national broadcast newsrooms, corporate media strategy, and public service. At ABC News and Bloomberg Television, David led coverage of some of the biggest stories of the past two decades — from presidential elections and natural disasters to financial crises and historic cultural moments. He went on to oversee global editorial teams and launch Bloomberg’s digital-first streaming channel, helping to redefine how audiences consume trusted news.Recently, as Director of Communications for the Ohio House Minority Caucus, David applies that same storytelling precision to the public sector — shaping messaging for lawmakers, driving transparency, and connecting policy to the people it serves. His work is guided by a simple principle: stories, when told well, can change how people see their communities, their leaders, and themselves.
