About David Middleton

I have worked in the food industry with the Irish Dairy Board (IDB) for just over ten years and in that time have developed extensive skills, knowledge, and experience in the procurement and supply chain areas. IDB is one of Ireland’s biggest exporters and trades branded and commodity food products internationally. My roles have also entailed substantial interaction with IT and I have participated in two significant IT projects; an ERP implementation and the evaluation, selection & implementation of a business forecasting product. As well as developing my experience within the IDB I have also continued my professional development by undertaking relevant training on a regular basis, and recently graduated from DCU with an MBS Degree. Specialties: Procurement / Purchasing, Planning, Supply Chain, Forecasting, Business Process Improvement.
