Prototyping processes include SLA, FDM, urethane castings, Plaster molding, Investment, sand, plus aluminum molds for plastics. Production processes include die-cast molds, precision machining, sheet metal forming and punching/bending and plastic injection molds. •Vast Knowledge of Environmental Requirements – IP-68, MIL-STD-810, EMI/EMC, tracked/wheeled vibration, salt fog testing, sand and dust, etc. •Understanding of Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) needs and design solutions for both board level and product level suppression. •Wholesale knowledge of Connectors. Environmentally hardened, EMI suppression, board to board, fine pitch, blind mate, high speed, cable interconnects. •Understanding of Human Factors Engineering (HFE) in regards to tactile membranes, rotary controls, displays and console. •Quick study with ability to assimilate job requirements and aggressively employ new ideas, concepts, methods and technologies.
