About David Mitleider

As a Cum Laude graduate from the University of Florida with a B.S. Degree in Hospitality Management and a minor in Business Administration, I am passionate about my career and what I can do with it. I care a great deal about customer service, but I also care a great deal about what I am skilled at. I am the type of person where I feel like if I am skilled at something, I feel comfortable and I am able to produce my best work. I have worked doing hospitality-related jobs in the past such as hotel front desk clerk and hosting at restaurants. After doing those types of jobs since they pertained to my major, I realized that they were not a good fit for me due to the lack of a challenge. I love being challenged in life because it is what I am used to. In high school, I had to challenge myself to get accepted into the University of Florida. When I got my acceptance letter my senior year in high school, I knew that four years of that challenge really meant something. During college, I was constantly encountered with challenges, but I knew that the reward at the end was going to be placed in my hands and that was a Bachelor's Degree as a Cum Laude graduate. I realized that my skills are in an office environment instead. Once I realized hospitality was not for me, I worked doing temp jobs with staffing agencies and contract work in order to gain experience. As I did more office work, I became more proficient in Microsoft Office software and operating different types of office equipment such as fax machines and printers/scanners. Currently, I have been working Full-Time at Restaurant Partners Procurement as a Price Verification Specialist. Since I have been working there, I have gained a substantial amount of knowledge of the restaurant supply industry in association with restaurant’s collaboration with suppliers and distribution centers. Also, I have learned about the financial side pertaining to invoices and pricing.
