I have been working for several years in Munich, Germany - for the first two years as an office manager, paralegal and technical specialist for a major New York law firm during a worldwide bribery investigation case and for the remaining time as Trademark Analyst for a German intellectual property firm. I have a working knowledge of phonetics and grammatical structures/some vocabulary (not fluent) in German, Spanish, Dutch, French and Italian. My current position spans the areas of trademark (and similar IP) searches, legal analysis, review and reporting; proprietary software layout, design, distribution and troubleshooting; client and worldwide external agent contact; and administration. Current major clients include- a leading energy drink company - a major mobile devices and tech solutions company - 3 large agrochemical firms - 2 prominent general chemicals firms - 2 major pharmaceutical/healthcare firms - a well-known alcoholic beverage company - a leading personal care/beauty products firm I would not choose to leave my firm, which I adore, but for personal reasons, I need to move to Lisbon, Portugal or Berlin, Germany, with the option to telecommute periodically from the US. My current job activities are more than 95% computer-based; therefore, I am certain that a new position involving cross-border telecommuting would be perfect. I am willing to be somewhat more flexible in terms of salary, overtime and general responsibilities in order to be able to work remotely from Lisbon or Berlin (also would consider Amsterdam, Madrid, Barcelona or Bologna). I would be pleased to hear any leads to positions that fit the above, including different industries where my general skills would be appropriate or for which remote training is available.
