About David Mkrtumyan

During my career, I have been dedicated to the healthcare field, gaining valuable experience across various units within the Adventist Health Hospital. As a Health Scholar, my primary focus was on patient care, and I developed a deep understanding of administering care and prioritizing the needs of patients while collaborating closely with nurses and physicians. In addition to my involvement in patient care, I have also had the opportunity to work in a laboratory setting, where I honed my skills in managing laboratory operations. During this time, I had the privilege of working under the guidance of my Principal Investigator at California State University, Northridge, contributing to published research and presenting findings. This experience has enhanced my analytical abilities and expanded my knowledge in the field.Looking ahead, my goal is to combine the diverse set of skills I have acquired from both my healthcare and laboratory experiences. I aspire to collaborate with ophthalmologists and optometrists, leveraging my expertise to make a positive impact in the field. Through my dedication, adaptability, and passion for patient-centered care, I aim to contribute to the advancement of eye health and improve the lives of individuals in need of vision care.
