About David Mole

I’m a coach, facilitator, and published author of the book Creating Great Teams, partnering with industry-leading organisations to embed impactful change and improved ways of working. As Director at Nomad8 for 10 years, I’ve guided teams and leaders, unlocking their potential and building resilient, high-performing teams. I’ve been engaged by some of the best organisations in New Zealand and globally to support teams and emerging leaders as they navigate change. Throughout my work I have been fortunate to support some incredible work and programmes of change, helping people to unlock potential and building resilient, high-performing teams that thrive in complex, highly changing environments. Some examples include: At Xero, I spent two years enhancing their global product practices and ways of working. I coached the Product Leadership Team and was a key member of the program team working on the company-wide “How We Work” program, which impacted and improved the work of over people. By introducing cutting-edge product management techniques, we boosted efficiency, collaboration, and strategic focus across the organization. At Trade Me, I was brought in for my project delivery expertise from the UK to identify and implement better ways of working. By blending project management, business agility, and product management, I led a company-wide transformation that resulted in significant increases in delivery and team health, shifting the organization from uncertainty to a sustainable, high-performance culture. At Genesis Energy and Trustpower, I was the lead consultant, partnering with Executive Leadership to drive digital transformation. I led the implementation of operating model enhancement, resulting in a dramatic improvement in operational efficiency and significantly uplifted digital delivery capabilities. At Southern Cross & Xero: I designed and led 'The Academy', successfully coaching and training dozens of emerging leaders and significantly enhancing their facilitation, leadership and capabilities. Additionally, as an ICAgile-accredited trainer, I’ve trained professionals worldwide in Business Agility, Product Management, Change Management and Facilitation—enabling them to lead transformative change and teams effectively.
