David Mond was the founder, Managing Director and CEO of Recoveries Corporation Group Ltd (sold December 2016). Recoveries Corporation grew to become the leading contingent debt recovery business in Australia with proven success in contact centre services, debt recovery solutions, insurance claims recovery services and litigation management. Prior to David retiring as CEO on the 31 October 2017, the Group employed over 650 staff across Melbourne, Sydney and Suva, turning over $50m. In 1984, David established his own boutique CPA accounting practice, David Mond & Associates. Over the years he has built the business based clientele by specialising in business management and taxation advice as well as family law supportive services, retirement planning and dispute resolution consultancy. In addition, David is the Chairman of MIG Textiles, a fourth generation family business established in 1933, that manufactures and exports products for the Australian and Overseas markets prime Wool and Alpaca filled quilts, under blankets, and pillows including the “Bobby the Bear” and “The Australian” product range. David is also a Director of Steadmark Pty Ltd, marketer and seller of Simone Perele products.
