About David Montone

I have dedicated my professional life to helping others navigate uncertainty, manage risks and drive meaningful outcomes. I began as a litigator at a large New York City law firm, where I spent a decade handling complex litigation and conducting Board and Audit Committee investigations. I moved in-house to PwC, where I ultimately had the privilege of leading legal teams advising across the firm’s business lines, as well as our technology and data protection groups. Now, as a risk management leader at PwC, I focus on technology, artificial intelligence and enterprise risk management. Each day, I work to make risk management excellence our competitive advantage. I am a passionate truth teller, fact finder, relationship builder, and problem solver. Beyond my professional life, I am a proud husband, dedicated father of three, and grateful dog owner. Outside of work, you can find me tending to my plants, running by the Hudson River, listening to audiobooks, and sometimes birdwatching. I also love to cook, travel, explore cultures, and make people laugh.
