About David Moran

Through my over 25 years in construction, I developed great experience in design as well as construction contracts, and to manage the entire cycle from proposal submission through contract completion, coordinating in-house and subcontractor forces. I had the opportunity to travel to several countries fulfilling Worldwide Facilities Upgrade contracts with the FBI and the DOS, lead multiple general contracts with the Miami International Airport, major projects with Jackson Memorial Hospital, and several military agencies. As I was setting off in that direction, my brother was developing a career in Lean Six Sigma and continuous process improvement, and over 10 of our family members went off to serve the US armed forces. All of that came together in 2011, when I joined EPIC Consultants to expand on their purpose of making things better. We branched out from process improvement consulting to also be a general construction firm, solely dedicated to providing services to governmental agencies, and committed to incorporate the highest standards of quality and efficiency set forth by the lean and six sigma methodologies. Since then, EPIC has grown, added several qualified professionals to the team, and performed a multitude of projects at all government levels. In 2023, we have decided to give our construction business its own identity and create EPIC Construction Company. This sets a new milestone in our journey, marking a new chapter of growth, specialization, and client-focused excellence. Nonetheless, what I mostly enjoy is being at the jobsites, and building long lasting relationships along the way.
