About David Morris

David is a Registered Psychotherapist with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO) and is an accredited Cognitive Behavioural Therapist with the British Association of Behavioural Cognitive Psychotherapists (BABCP). David received his MSc in Psychology and Post Graduate Diploma in Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapies in the United Kingdom and worked in clinical practice as an Assistant Psychologist and accredited Cognitive Behavioural Therapist for one of the UK’s leading Clinical and Performance Psychology organizations before emigrating to Canada. There, David delivered psychological assessment and intervention within a variety of public and private mental health services for young people, families, and adults, including within corporate and elite sport environments. David primarily works within a cognitive behavioural framework, however also draws on systemic, psychodynamic, attachment, and trauma based modalities. He has experience providing evidence-based intervention for a variety of mental difficulties including generalized anxiety, social anxiety, phobias, panic disorder, OCD, depression, attachment and personality-based difficulties, and post-traumatic stress. He has also worked in business and elite sport environments with individuals and teams focused on performance planning, resilience, burnout, stress, communication, and relationships.
