Background

About David Mujica

I am a computer science professional with around 20 years of experience in software development and project management in this field. My communication and negotiation skills have allowed me to focus on solutions with high value for the customer's needs; I have frequently used these skills in defining the scope, design, and budget of CRM and OCS software products. Under a variety of roles, I have been part of different development teams and projects, from coder, software architect, business analyst, to being responsible for complete modules under the role of project manager, leading teams from different engineering disciplines and of course from the administrative and commercial areas. Throughout these years, I have developed a sense of customer orientation that has allowed me to reach consensus on solutions that meet customer needs without sacrificing fundamental technical principles to give scalability to the products that were the result of the projects I led. These years have formed my character to deal with critical situations where the perceptions of customers, stakeholders, and executors are in opposition, and that is where my participation is, in my opinion, more notable because I have ended them with consensus among the actors involved and in favor of the good result of these projects. In summary, I have participated and continue to participate in software development projects from the conception of the product to its implementation, and I can say that I have succeeded in standing out in my field through the delivery of software products where the design team, development, QA, infrastructure, internal client, and stakeholders have exceeded our individual expectations. As an additional fact, my experience in the area includes knowledge of programming languages Java, PL/SQL, and Delphi, and among other tools, I worked with JIRA and Odoo regarding the tracking of the projects in which I was in charge. Finally, I was a teacher at one of the most prestigious universities in my country, the Universidad Mayor de San Simón, in the subjects of Statistics, Data Structure, and Software Engineering.
