About David Murphy

I began working full time at 18 while working towards my Bachelors of Arts at University College Dublin in a Cold Storage transportation Ware-house. However, my ambition and focus deviated towards corporate work and I, unfortunately, abandoned my education to pursue a career with greater progression options. I worked in FBD Insurance and for the NDLS, briefly deviating to qualify as a Personal Trainer and flex my entrepreneurial skills. While working as a Team Leader with the NDLS an opportunity to work for Dublin Bus came my way. During the first year of my employment, I took on an accelerated course program to gain greater Leadership and Management skills, to aid and benefit my role within the company. Socially I have always been quite outgoing and competitive. I have enjoyed much success in my sporting career having been selected to represent Ireland in both Martial Arts and American Football, the latter both as a player and coach. Any success I have had throughout my career both professionally and throughout sports, I can attribute to the values instilled in me by both my parents and mentors I have been privileged to meet along the way.
