About David N. Rogers

With 30 years of dedicated experience in higher education administration, David has cultivated a diverse skill set encompassing many aspects of higher ed: alumni affairs, annual giving, student life, career services, event management, and teaching. Adept in project management, David's leadership moves projects from development through execution. A collaborative thought partner, David strives toward answering the question:"How can this be better?" David's passion lies in fortifying connections and creating engaging opportunities for meaningful interactions, whether between alumni and graduate students, or alumni of Harvard Chan and the greater Harvard community. In his role with the Office for Alumni Relations at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health, David has worked closely with the Harvard Chan School Alumni Association, representing over alumni around the globe. He develops new initiatives and programs designed to engage alumni as volunteers and ambassadors of the School, working tirelessly to forge connections among Harvard Chan School alumni globally. David also looks for ways to collaborate with various offices on campus, partnering with faculty and staff on programs and initiatives that bring alumni back to campus. David brings a wealth of prior experience from institutions such as Merrimack College, the University of Connecticut, and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Additionally, he has contributed to the field as a part-time Instructor at Northeastern, teaching graduate students in the Higher Education program. David holds a Bachelor's degree from the University of Lynchburg, a Master of Science in Student Affairs from the University of Rhode Island, and an Ed.D in Higher Education from the University of Massachusetts Boston. His specialties encompass higher education administration, Greek Life, student affairs, alumni relations, volunteer management, career programming, student programs, alumni programs, and project management.
