Highly skilled energy professional with a diverse background working in both the private and public sectors. When starting a project, I am an innovative thinker who is able to think outside the box and look for creative ways to solve a problem. I have a broad range of experience in energy, building design, project management, sales/marketing, engineering and business development. Here are a few highlights from my work at Piedmont Natural Gas: • Manage Piedmont’s CNG department to ensure safe and reliable utilization of natural gas in the transportation market while focusing on continued annual growth in this sector. • Responsible for the business development interface of Renewable Natural Gas projects which include working directly with regulatory, legal, engineering, measurement and system planning. • Serve as Piedmont’s representative on GTI’s - Utilization Technology Development group that promotes the R&D of advanced natural gas end-use technologies. • Successful contract implementation of a $38 million dollar Utility Energy Savings Contract (UESC) project at Camp Lejeune. • Managed over $18 million of energy efficiency programs including program development/ implementation, tracking of program metrics and expenditures, and budgetary forecasting. • Completed the Piedmont Natural Gas Leadership Compass Program and Ambassador Speakers Bureau program. Also, a graduate of the E4 Carolinas Emerging Leaders Program. In my professional and personal life, I am always looking to increase my knowledge and understanding and enjoy the challenge of new concepts and projects.
