About David Nickerson

I’m a board-certified physician and medical director with a passion for improving healthcare delivery in rural and community-based settings. Over the past decade, I’ve led clinical and operational transformations that have turned around underperforming service lines, grown patient volume, improved satisfaction, and expanded access through technology and care model innovation. Whether integrating occupational health into urgent care, designing telehealth platforms, or launching a hybrid clinic from the ground up, I bring a systems mindset and a deep respect for the people delivering the care. I believe the best outcomes happen when we empower teams, align processes with purpose, and keep the patient experience at the center. Currently completing the Global Healthcare Leaders Program at Harvard Medical School, I’m continuing to expand my strategic and leadership toolkit. I’m always open to conversations about improving access, scaling innovative care models, or building strong clinical cultures—especially in places where those things are needed most.
