For more than 20 years I’ve been working in the energy sector and for the past eight years I’ve served as the Vice President of Project Development and Engineering for TxEx Energy Investments, LLC. I am a highly motived, energetic, natural leader with a vast array of experience in the energy sector, both as a manager and as an engineer. I am a high-level strategic thinker who works well in the details when necessary. I am highly capable of directing and managing managers as well as managing large scale capital projects.With TxEx Energy Investments I’ve filled many different roles, including technical expert, project developer, entrepreneur, VP of our Crude and Fuels trading business, as well as VP of Operations for Marlin Midstream, in which TxEx was the general partner. Throughout my career with LyondellBasell, Occidental Petroleum, Marlin Midstream, and TxEx Energy Investments, I’ve developed, engineered, operated, commissioned, or constructed projects touching the following areas:• Refining assets, including crude units, catalytic reformer, HDS units, FCCU, and many others • Cryogenic gas plants• Compressors and Compressor Stations• Amine & Dehydration Units / Acid gas injection wells• Solar development: utility scale, distributed generation, and commercial rooftop• Engine driven power plants• Crude and fuel terminals• Rail terminals• PipelinesI’ve also had the opportunity to manage large organizations as VP of Operations of Marlin Midstream, Vice President of Associated Energy Services, and Maintenance Superintendent for Occidental Petroleum. I am very adept at connecting to and encouraging individuals, resulting in the very best performance they have to offer. I communicate the company vision and strategy in a way that results in employee buy-in and organizational success.
