About David Nowicki

David is a Landscape Architect with a full membership and seal in good standing with the Ontario Association of Landscape Architects (OALA). His work experience in landscape architecture had progressed from an entry-level position to a Project Managerial role, prior to joining the AECOM team where he is now in the process of obtaining Project Managerial status. Recently, David also earned his accreditation to become a Certified Arborist through the International Society of Arboriculture (ISA). Over the years David has acted as landscape lead consultant in the design and construction (contract administration) of varying project types and sizes, which included landscaping for both high- and low-rise residential buildings, commercial and industrial site plan applications, environmental restoration and enhancement, transit infrastructure, water treatment facility projects. David regularly managed multiple large-scale subdivisions as a landscape lead, creating master plans and detail designs for parks, trail systems, ecological restorations, landscape buffers, LID bio-retention swales, stormwater management facilities and streetscapes. His exemplary attention to detail has proven to be an asset in the preparation of construction drawings and documents, specifications, and tender packages for various project types. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Suite, and Microsoft Office, along with a strong knowledge of the design standards for most municipalities and conservation authorities in southern Ontario allows for him to work efficiently in the preparation of drawings, documents, and attending to construction administration tasks in a timely manner.
