Hi, my name is Dave, and I’m here to help.My working life has taken me through customer service roles that honed my communication and problem solving skills, studies which have sharpened my analytical skill and enhanced my attention to detail, leadership roles which have brought out my natural abilities in coaching and mentoring and training roles which have crystallized my love of facilitation.My life has been about knowledge. Finding it, sharing it, and using it. I have an insatiable thirst for knowledge that finds joy in reading, researching and simply listening to people from all walks of life, be it casual chats in retail aisles, philosophy and politics over coffee, podcasts, TED talks or everything between.I share knowledge by bringing energy, optimism and positivity in communicating, coaching, presenting and conversation; all coupled with an innate sense of fun (read: I seek to entertain through humour, positivity, esoteric information and occasionally song)I use knowledge to find solutions. Whether it’s a vision that needs to be realised, a group that needs to know what’s going on, a problem that needs a better outcome, a question that needs an answer, or a person that needs an idea, advice, direction or just a perspective.My drive comes from a desire to be a part of someone’s journey to success, whether through teaching, training, sharing information, offering advice, or simply being the one who believes in them when no one else will.
