I am currently Commercial Director at Cool Running Events Ltd, now incorporating Zipit Forest Adventures also. We run adventure tourism events including seasonal ice rinks/trails and high wire zip line parks. Previously, I worked as Corporate Finance Director at Grant Thornton, Cork, working on a range of advisory, corporate finance and insolvency assignments such as; Valuations Finance Raising M&A Debt refinancing & restructuring Financial monitoring Financial dispute resolution General advisory Background I joined Deloitte in 2009 as an audit assistant, where I worked as part of the external audit teams before taking up a position in the tax department in 2010, obtaining experience in personal, corporate and capital taxes. In 2012, I took up the position Corporate Finance Senior and obtained exposure to due diligence assignments, independent business reviews and debt restructuring / refinancing. I was subsequently promoted to Assistant Manager in September 2013. I joined Grant Thornton in September 2013 upon the opening of GT's Cork office, taking up the position of Advisory Services Assistant Manager before being promoted to Manager in February 2015 and Associate Director in February 2018.
