About David Oklobia

A result-oriented Civil Engineer with over eight years of hands-on experience in the oil & energy industry, where I have led and contributed to the design, engineering, construction and maintenance of a barrels per day green field petroleum refinery complex, within a high-risk and performance-driven environment. My experience cuts across design and detailed engineering, FEED, vendor management, procurement coordination, project management, execution and maintenance. Over time, I’ve grown increasingly motivated to develop and align my skills with projects that support the energy transition and environmental sustainability. I am currently pursuing an MSc in Project Management for Environmental and Energy Engineering at IMT Atlantique in France. The program is equipping me with the tools to lead complex, cross-disciplinary projects in clean energy, sustainable infrastructure, and climate-resilient development.
