I am a multi-skilled engineer (fitter) with extensive experience in maintenance and operations across various industries, including wire manufacturing, food processing, and warehousing. My career began with an apprenticeship at Tinsley Wire/Bekaert, which later became part of the Betafence group, where I spent 15 years primarily in a reactive maintenance role. I have transitioned into the food industry with 2SFG and more recently into warehousing with Next and Dematic, where I honed my skills in maintaining complex machinery. My technical expertise includes a wide range of equipment such as EVG, Wafios, Eurodraw, Fessmann, Vanderlande, Duerkopp, Interoll, and Dematic. In addition to my technical capabilities, I have held leadership roles as a rota team leader and deputy team leader, providing me with valuable experience in team management and day-to-day operations. After my achievement of being promoted to Shift Manager, where I was responsible for overseeing operations and leading my team effectively. Moving into my current role as Maintenance planner, the role demands i Currently manage all aspects of maintenance across a designated area, including team leadership, resource planning, and reliability improvement. With the use of tools to support TPM deployment, SAP maintenance systems, and continuous improvement initiatives focused on downtime reduction and asset performance. Also responsible for compliance, budget control, and supporting engineering projects through data-driven strategies and cross-functional collaboration.
