About David Oster

Ever since I was a child, I wanted to help others and celebrate their successes with them. I originally entered the financial services industry in 2005 and almost immediately decided this was the industry for me, because I felt I could make such a positive impact on the lives of others. I became a financial advisor with Edward Jones in order to serve individuals and families in a deep and meaningful way. Our financial health determines so much of our life's trajectory and it is an honor to help my clients organize, plan, and protect what they've worked so hard to earn. My goal for every interaction is to add value to the financial life of each of my clients. When we work together, I start every conversation by listening to you, to ensure I understand what is most important to you. I then work through our established process to help you define your goals and partner with you to help keep you on track over the long term. My ideal client is an advocate of my business, and the service I provide. They are a pleasure to work with, in that they are responsive, appreciate and value the work we do, and introduce us to their friends and family who would benefit from and appreciate our service. After being in the financial services industry for over 16 years, I have found that my clients really appreciate the time that I take to educate them on the strategies and investments we will be using, which in turn, helps them feel more comfortable when making decisions. Outside the office, I love golf, martial arts, and playing my saxophone. My wife and I live in Chandler, and are both very passionate about personal fitness, taking our dogs for walks and hikes, and supporting local restaurants. We also love to volunteer in our community.
