With over 15 years of military service in the US and abroad, and extensive experience as an Automotive Mechanical Specialist, I bring more than 20 years of experience in delivering complex projects to enhance system functionalities and optimize performances. As a Senior Field Service Engineer with Lockheed Martin, I oversee the configuration, deployment, and maintenance of a Saab Home Station Instrumentation Training System (HITS), an integrated solution replicating a realistic combat environment, allowing military personnel to train in a controlled and cost-effective setting. I supervise the system setup of the designated training site, configure sensors, training devices, and communication infrastructure, applying Six Sigma principles to ensure flawless installation and operation. My Greatest Achievement in This Position: I enabled the simultaneous operation of two training systems by providing additional real-time data analysis support to peers and comprehensive system training to four new technicians, resulting in training over 500 soldiers in combat scenarios. What I Bring: Leadership & Collaboration: Throughout my career, I’ve led various teams through complex situations, either as a civilian or while serving abroad. My focus is to foster transparent communication and collaboration for optimal efficiency while prioritizing a solid work/life balance for my teams. Military Service: A member of the Army National Guard for over 13 years, I currently hold the rank of Staff Sergeant. Throughout three overseas deployments, I have held positions as a Maintenance Control Supervisor in Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, and Customs & Border Clearance Non-Commissioned Officer-in-Charge in Kuwait. Expertise in Process Improvement: During my time in Kuwait, I spearheaded the transformation of outdated policy into a new Standard Operating Procedure (SOP), leveraging my in-depth knowledge of CENTCOM regulations to enhance procedural efficiency. Operational Coordination: I oversaw the maintenance, availability, and upkeep of a fleet of 485 tactical and non-tactical vehicles and equipment in Cuba, valued at over $20M. Academic Training: I hold a master’s in public administration, with a concentration in Public Policy, a bachelor’s in philosophy & political science, and an Associate Degree in Advanced Automotive Technology.
