About David Owen

I have a vast history of sales and management success in the consumer electronics industry starting as a territory sales person. This success led to promotions as a Regional Sales Manager, General Manager of National Sales and Vice President of National Sales. I am detail oriented, analytical and a strong relationship builder. Truly understanding customers business business model, goals and position in the market are the keys to success. I am able to develop business plans, motivate staff, give them concise action plans and methodically implement them to reach company sales goals. I used these skills to develop a concept and business plan for a very successful restaurant that I ran as a true owner/operator for 8 years. Restaurants are a tough business, but my restaurant was an anomaly of success for a first time restaurant owner, the skills I have learned throughout my career helped insure its success and accolades. I am high energy person, lead by example, empathetic and listen intently. In 2020 I closed Freddy Valentines due to COVID19. After a very tough year and a half I reinvented the Freddy's space as Last Leaf Public House a classic vintage pub specializing in House Smoked Barbecue, Flatbread Pizzas, Shareable Apps, Well Crafted Cocktails, Whisey, Wine and Beer. It's been daunting, but Last Leaf will prevail!
