About David Pakizer

I am focused on radiological and neurological projects, particularly in the areas of vascular diseases, vessel-wall imaging, cerebrovascular events, and invasive treatment of stroke and atherosclerosis. I am open to international collaborations, as well as postdoctoral positions in neuroimaging, vascular diseases, and stroke research. My expertise encompasses methodological guidance and the conduct of high-quality systematic reviews and meta-analyses. As a radiographer with a specialization in radiodiagnosis (expertise in CT and MRI, experience in carotid and transcranial ultrasound, and interventional radiology), I aim to contribute to ensuring above-standard care by providing high-quality imaging examinations to patients, as well as enhancing imaging options, particularly for patients with cerebrovascular diseases. Passionate about the latest stroke care improvements like mobile stroke units, radiographer education (news from our field, new techniques, basic knowledge, research hub – at the university and volunteering not only in the medical field (Centrum Narovinu), popularization of science (Pevnost poznání UPOL), and traveling (Klub cestovatelů OU).
