Thank you for taking the time to view my page! The values I practice daily at Edward Jones remind me of my experiences growing up. I spent a lot of time watching my dad serve as a pastor in our church. He provided consistent and dedicated services to all people in various life stages and challenges. My parents ensured music, study, camping and service were an integral part of my upbringing and through those opportunities, I was able to watch them help others with joyous events such as graduations, marriages and newborn babies. But I also saw the heart-breaking trials of accidents, illness, divorce and death. Today, I have the honor and privilege to help my clients navigate through those same experiences in relation to their finances. Before coming to Edward Jones, I served in education with high school and college students. I loved teaching. I found that my organizational and leadership skill sets were strong, so I moved from teaching to administering departments and colleges as a department chair, college dean and president. By the time that part of my professional career concluded, I had served as a leader and mentor for 13 college presidents across eight states. After decades of personal and professional experience with business, money and investing, I found a unique opportunity with Edward Jones to work with people and businesses as their financial advisor. I serve the beautiful community of Scripps Ranch in San Diego, CA. I can work, live and play here with my family and friends. My wife and I love to travel across the U.S. and internationally. We sail and enjoy four-season activities at our cabin in Big Bear Lake. Our two adult children work as professionals locally. My friends and I play in the Scripps Ranch Old Pros and I serve as president with the Rotary Club of Poway-Scripps. What a pleasure it is to serve my community.
