About David Parris

David Parris, Director – Business Development, Public SectorDavid Parris joined KloudData in 2010 and currently serves as the Director of Business Development. He is responsible for leading, developing and managing programs in the Federal, State and Local sectors (as well as assisting in commercial sales initiatives) and ensuring that customer expectations relating to performance and quality are achieved. Mr. Parris is responsible for building the customer base of the company and for better utilization of corporate resources to improve services provided to customers. Some of his clients include the US Department of Labor, the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid, the US Department of Interior and the State of Maryland Department of the Environment. He has been certified by KloudData’s partner, SAP in SAP Channel Sales for their suite of software products and also advises the President on strategic initiatives and business growth areas. Mr. Parris has over 20 years of experience in the IT industry primarily in the areas of business development, service management and project management.Prior to joining KloudData, from 2005 to 2010, he worked for Project Masters Inc, a project management and training company where he was responsible for Client Relationship Management and Business Development. Clients included the US Department of Labor, Federal Student Aid, Department of Energy and Booze Allen Hamilton. Prior to that, he was a National Accounts Service Manager for Silicon Graphics (SGI) supporting such clients as NBC, CBS Sports, The Weather Channel, AT & T and Verizon (GTE).On a personal level, David is active in the local community as a member and two time past president of the Rotary Club of Columbia MD as well as a 2005 graduate of Leadership Howard County.Mr. Parris is a proud Wake Forest University Alumni and served in the military as a field artillery officer.
