About David Parsons

I am an experienced high performance leader that seeks to use my strengths to make a positive difference to the lives of others. I am currently Performance Director at England Netball, responsible for overseeing the performances of the England Roses, and England Netball's High Performance and Pathway systems. I have also recently successfully undertaken the role of Spin Bowling coach to the Multan Sultans in the Pakistan Cricket League 2024. In my role as a high performance consultant at DP High Performance, I help leaders in a range of sectors develop outstanding performance in individuals, teams and organisations, by providing insight and improving capability. The services I offer to organisations include Coaching and Mentoring, Mediation and Problem Solving, System Analysis and Review, Strategy Development, Presentations and Workshops, and Project Leadership. A career spanning all elements of the talent pathway has led to a great understanding of the demands of high performance and the player / athlete development journey. Through my work leading England Cricket's International programmes, I have become skilled at turning vision and strategy into action and am a smart thinker that is able to make sense of complex situations. I am an authentic and supportive leader of people who has built strong and collaborative relationships with stakeholders. I was responsible for developing the systems, programmes and people, now respected across the global cricket network, and the wider sporting network within the UK, that enabled the successful promotion and integration of players from within the International Pathway into the England Team that won the 2019 Cricket World Cup, the 2010 World Twenty20 competition, and was ranked number one in all formats during my tenure.
