About David Patch

I am a Senior Research Scientist specializing in remediation and analytical chemist currently working at Parsons Corporation. I specialize in understanding the release and transformation potential of metal nanomaterials, PFAS, and pharmaceuticals in the environment. I also support a number of other research projects including those looking at the fate, transport, and remediation of aforementioned emerging contaminants. My passions in life include engineering new applications for established techniques, applying my knowledge to multiple disciplines, and developing new techniques for inexpensive and efficient analysis of environmental systems. I hope to make science more accessible to people from all walks of life, and put tools into the hands of those with the creativity and experience to use them in unexpected and exciting applications.
