About David Paulus
I am David Paulus (nominated for the Jacques de Leeuw Prize 2024), a self-taught artist and fashion designer with a strong focus on inclusion and diversity. In my role as a visual arts teacher, I inspire and guide young people in Curaçao in their creative development. My installations and sculptures pay tribute to my ancestors, whose stories and traditions form the core of my work. With each creation, I strive to bridge the past and the present, helping young people find their own unique voice.
