I am David Peeters. I've always been interested and fascinated by the world of technology. When I was 14 I discovered Visual Basic. Soon I started writing my own little programs. A few years later I switched over to HTML, PHP and MySQL, which I used in various websites I developed. From small ones to bigger, wider used websites. Friends say they never see me without a smile. I always see the positive things in people or assignments. I'd like to think about problems as things that need to be solved, not things that let me down. I'm always open for new ideas, new ways of doing things, new challenges and new knowledge to acquire.When I'm not on my computer, I like to watch musicals, visit places, go to the restaurant or make a city trip. In short, spend time with the people close to me. BACKEND My speciality and passion is developing web applications with PHP. Together with a MySQL database backend and various caching techniques like Redis and Memcached, I created numerous big and small web applications.All running smoothly on a LAMP stack. FRONTEND A great backend is nothing without a user friendly and intuitive frontend. For this I can count on my fluent HTML, JavaScript and CSS knowledge. Some tools I often use are LESS, jQuery, Angular and Vue. PRODUCT DESIGN I’m a perfectionist, always trying to make the user happy and giving them the best user experience possible.
