Successfully manage a team on the early works program for the introduction of a $21 Million OPAL electronic ticketing card system used by the NSW transport system at gated stations on a night works stage of the project. Responsible for the electrical and communications part of the early works OPAL project at several locations across the network gated stations. Electronic and electrical layout A/C systems fabrications, also commissioning testing, and certification methods I am a holder of an Associate Diploma in Electrical Engineering, as well as qualifications in Computer Technology, Electronics and Communications, and hold a dual trade Electrical and Refrigeration and A/C, apart from this I have a manufacturing/service background, I have been involved in engineering processes from R&D to manufacturing, testing and commissioning as well as servicing of mechanical/electrical devices. I have exposure to food manufacturing processes and service equipment used in the industry; I have service equipment at companies such as Cerebos, Coca Cola, Kellogs, Wrigley’s, as well as others involved in manufacturing of medicine. For the last 10 years I worked in a service environment attending mechanical/electrical breakdowns of plant and machinery covering over 300 stations on the NSW rail network, the work was fast and important as the systems availability was directly proportional to the revenue generated, and customer satisfaction was part of our KPI’s. Procurement management aligning the approach with the project’s requirements to overcome identified constraints. A realistic understanding of risk and approaches in taking appropriate action to manage risk; and project governance and compliance.
