Over 25 years experience in the Piping and Mechanical design and plant layout for chemical processing, Oil and Gas, water treatment, mineral processing, petrochemical and pharmaceutical/biochemical processing plants. This includes leading, checking, estimating, and field experience for various maintenance, expansions, revamping and Greenfield projects from “front end” to “start up”. Experience in the field includes: P & ID’s walk down, piping isometric walk down, field investigation, field isometric, tie-In sketches, field measurement, assistance during construction and critical shutdown turn-around, and equipment and piping installation inspections and start up. Well versed with industry standards and codes including API, ASME/ANSI, AWWA, and ASTM Work experience includes developing P & ID, PFD, general arrangement, equipment arrangement, piping arrangement, piping fabrication and erection isometrics, pipe spool details, pipe support details, material take-off, and as-built drawings; generation of piping material specifications and design criteria standards. Also have extensive experience in mechanical and structural design such as tank fabrication details and plate-work fabrication details, and such as structural steel design and detailing for pipe racks, pipe supports, and skid frames. Design team supervision experience includes: coordinate communication and documentation between the team of engineers and designers group, setting and monitoring of man-hours, preparation of project progress reports, variance analysis and prepare change orders, development of technical-economic proposals. Participate in meeting safety, quality, software, budget performance criteria for engineering construction documents at the project level, and final review of engineering documents and verification of goals achieved. Extensive knowledge of managing 3D CAD Plant Design systems, including upgrade and configuration of the data based on these software.
