I have transitioned from the world of marketing/strategy to teaching (and some consulting)! I am bringing my experience to the classroom. As the former EVP of Strategy at Bowstring Studios, I led the strategic direction and execution of the company's vision, mission, and goals. Bowstring Studios is a global leader in creating immersive and interactive experiences that inspire, educate, and entertain audiences across various industries and platforms. I also continue to serve as an Executive-in-Residence with Endeavor Management (a healthcare consultancy) and an advisor to Unlock Health (healthcare marketing firm). With over 35 years of experience in brand management, strategic marketing, and communications, I bring a wealth of expertise and insights to the company and its clients. I have a proven track record of turning ideas into action that transform organizations and generate results that make a positive impact. I founded and run Perry IQ, a consultancy focused on strategy, branding, marketing, and thought leadership in the healthcare, higher education, and high-tech domains, serving clients such as Stanford Medicine, the University of Louisville, and Bloomberg Media. I have also served as the Chief Marketing Officer of several prestigious institutions, such as University of Utah Health, Bentley University, and Seattle Children's Hospital & Research Institute, where I led the marketing, branding, and communications strategy and programs. I have also held various marketing and management roles at Microsoft, Quaker Oats, and Cranium, developing and launching innovative products and services in the U.S. and abroad. I am passionate about creating value and positive change for organizations and society through strategic thinking, creative problem-solving, and collaborative leadership. I hold an MBA from Northwestern University - Kellogg School of Management, a BS in Business from University of Kentucky, and I am currently pursuing a Doctorate in Organization Development and Change from Bowling Green State University. I am also an active board member and advisor for several organizations and causes that I care deeply about, including Lindsey Wilson University, the Marbridge Foundation, Yext, and Doximity.
