Providing a Technology consultative & leadership role for a diverse Technology Operations organization, spread between the Greater Toronto Area and Sault-Ste Marie, which in turn support close to 1500 customers, our internal employees."End User Computing"? My role is defined by what Technology the "end users" need to complete their work. Hardware, Software, Cloud technologies are my bread & butter. Innovation, adaptation, research, trend-awareness and capability are the keywords of what I do, to get my job done. Video Conference SME/Integrator. Responsible for the research, design and implementation of 40+ collaboration & meeting rooms on the Teams environment, using a mix of technologies (currently Logitech based). Expertise in service desk management (Incident & Service Request), process improvement, issue resolution, Knowledge management, Change management, Problem management, trouble shooting / problem solving, fire fighting and team wrangling. The role demands an understanding of underpinning technologies & skills, including network administration, Agile methodologies, Cloud technologies, deskside support, mobile technologies, system administration, storage, security, etc. Prior? Procurement (you need it? i could get it), vendor / relationship management, asset management, documentation, & conflict resolution. And anything else required to make the entire Technology Dept work well together.
